Performance Opportunity - 14th May 2022

We are super excited that Avenue Dance Company has invited us back to be part their fundraising show again this year!

NEW routines will be taught intensively on our Creating/Rehearsal Day on Sunday 8th May in Tadley – Venue TBC. These routines will then be performed in the Avenue Showcase and will highly likely be used for community events such as Tadley Treacle Fair over the summer months.

This opportunity is open to any Juniors School Year 4 and above AND any Senior dancers. Please note places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Routines/Costumes… Routines and Costumes will be communicated once we know who has signed up etc. It is likely that dancers will take part in two routines and will also perform as part of the show finale. Costumes will be simple to source/provided.

Key Dates… All dancers would need to be available for all the following dates please… If you are unable to make the Friday evening rehearsal but would like to still take part, please email faye@dancephaze.co.uk to discuss.

Dress Rehearsal with costumes
6-7pm @ Burnham Copse Primary School ** Please note – all Friday classes are running as normal on this date. Dancers involved the Avenue Performance will miss part of their lesson to rehearse in a separate space at Burnham Copse.

Saturday 14th May

Performance Day @ Princes Hall Theatre, Aldershot, GU11 1NX.
Arrive 11.45am ready for a dress rehearsal on stage.
Show 1 @ 1.30pm
Break/Watch Evening Show Dress Rehearsal
Show 2 @ 7pm

Showcase Fee… £14.00 per dancer please… This covers Avenue’s Showcase fee to take part in the show along with a contribution to Dance Phaze to cover admin, choreography, rehearsals, hall hire and costume add ons. Please pay this online via bank transfer ideally by Sunday 8th April – be sure to reference the dancer’s name. If you need to organise a late payment, please email faye@dancephaze.co.uk

Tickets must be ordered / paid for in advance… Tickets are available to order online. We will share the ticket link digitally with you upon sign up. Please answer ‘Dance Phaze’ when it asks what class you attend. All profits go to charity.

Communications… Please note we will create a WhatsApp Broadcast list for this event so please make sure you have Coach Faye’s number saved as a contact in your phone 07771792446, otherwise you will not receive the updates/rehearsal videos.

Car Share… We appreciate that Aldershot is a little further afield (36 mins from Tadley to the Theatre) We will encourage car share particularly for the drop off to reduce the number of people waiting around in Aldershot. Please also feel free to organise this independently using the parent Facebook group etc. Please make it known to the teaching team if you are struggling to get your child to the venue on that day.
